Metal grinding feeling in gas pedal when accelerating

Hello! I recently left work the other day and noticed immediately when accelerating, I could feel a metal like grinding or rubbing in my gas pedal. I could feel it with my foot, it didn’t seem like it was coming from the engine. I rolled down my window to see if it was making a sound from outside the car, but I didn’t hear a thing. At higher speeds (40-60mph) the grinding feeling is pretty much non existent. I only feel it in my gas pedal when accelerating from a stop and feel it the most when taking off slowly.

I have a 13’ G37x sedan with ~54k miles. I looked up this issue online but to no avail, nobody was really describing the issue like I have. My thought is maybe the catalytic converter but honestly I don’t have much mechanical experience with cars, I just love to drive them Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

A sound clip would be greatly helpful. There is just so much that can be a grinding sound. From a little pebble stuck in your rotor to transmission issues.
