Alright so this is my first post on this forum but this forum has helped me a lot. Anyways I’ve just bought my 2011 g37 sedan has 50k miles about a month ago.
But just the other night someone rear ended me on the freeway probably going like 45 mph.
I want to fix my car but i feel like it’s just going to be too expensive and i wanted to see if you guys had an idea of how much and what y’all thought about it and what i should do with it.
From my inspection it looks like most of the impact took place more in the upper side not really messing with the frame but I’m no mechanic. I already know the insurance is going to want to total it out but like i mentioned i really don’t want to.
I already have Injen intakes, eibach sway bars, and r1 concept drilled slotted rotors and pads and I just really love the car.
Is it fixable? Sure, almost anything can be fixed. BUT is it worth being fixed? Probably not. Unless you had a sentimental attachment to the car I'd just move on and find another.
