Exhaust Problems

I installed the Tanabe Mufflers a while back and thought they were too quiet, so I added Vibrant 12” resonators and had a custom midpipe built. I finished out the Y pipe with a Beluga Y pipe. It sounded great, but I wanted more. I ordered the Berk HFCs and installed them and there was a terrible rattling noise at all rpms. Checked all the bolts everything was tight. Besides it being obnoxiously loud it was rattling like crazy around 3k RPMs and driving me nuts. I added an 18” resonator in place of the 12” resonators, but it still rattled. I took it to a muffler shop to weld my 12” resonators back in behind the 18” resonators, but they somehow misunderstood and did a muffler delete and put the Vibrants where the muffler was. I took it back and now have a 22” resonator and it is now as quiet as when I put the Tanabe mufflers only, but it but it still rattles. I’m coming to the conclusion that this is the nature of the car with HFCs. I’m thinking about putting the stock cats back on and having the mid pipe rebuilt with the 12” Vibrant resonators. Ugh. I like the added power with the HFCs, but the rattle is driving me nuts. I’ve thought about scrapping it all and just getting a new exhaust and putting the stock cats back on. It’s frustrating.

Here’s when I first had the Berks installed

Heres what it sounds like from the outside pretty good

Heres after the new resonator
