Well after 6 weeks of owning it and only driving it 1 mile or so to the store 1 time, the Airlift is off, stock shocks with Swifts, Eibach bars, powder coated wheels with 15mm spacers and some new tires. A ton of general maintenance✔️. First real drive this morning and I dig it!. 2012 6mt 54k. Off to alignment in a few days and baby seat for my homie going in. Time to enjoy it
Can anyone chime in on sway bar setting. I have them set on the middle hole in the rear and the outer or soft in the front. My rear is snapping too easily, what can I do to plant the rear more. Stiffen the front, soften the rear, both?
Snapping? Do you mean you're losing grip in the rear before the front? IDK, I'd rather play into over-steer and correct it than have to fight against under-steer..
Someone is going to give you good advice about which connection points to use on your swaybars. And I suppose one potential solution to what you're describing isn't necessarily something you're going to do anytime soon, which is a wider rear wheel & tire setup.
Good question, felt the the traction was stopping the rear to me but I will turn traction off and see what the car tells me on the way home. With optimal bar setting to balance the car I would be fine with it, not going to change the wheels. The front is already soft, this is soft correct? So the front should not be pushing. I guess that would leave the idea of the rear is letting go and make adjustments targeting more rear grip
yea thanks. Thinking of softening the rear and see how they goes. If more is needed Ill stiffen the front but like i said it was on Airlift so the alignment may just be so far out so I'll wait till thats done.
