What would you do?

My clutch went out on me the other day so I took my car to the dealership to get it fixed, hopefully under warranty. They say the warranty doesn't cover it because of the RJM pedal was installed and it caused the slave cylinder to fail faster. It's a 2013 with 65,000 miles. I'm fortunate enough it lasted this long before it failed. The service guy said it's known to fail because it's inside the transmission and it's constantly hot so eventually the rubber seal gives. It took a week to get my car back and after I got my car back I took it home and didn't notice anything because my windows were down. I go have lunch with my friends and when I went back to my car, I noticed an open bottle of brake fluid and fluid all over my WeatherTech floor mat. I slide my hands across the carpet and there's fluid all over my fingers. Of course, I took pictures and sent it to my service guy asking him WTF. The service guy said he'll send someone to pick up my car or I can bring the car back. He needs to handle it ASAP. I said send the loaner to my house and they can pick up my car. I asked him what's his course of action and he said he doesn't know. He has to wait until the vehicle gets back and assess the situation. Should I wait to get the car back and see how well they cleaned it up? Seriously I'm not even sure how much was left in that bottle. Who the hell works on a car and leaves a bottle of brake fluid in the back seat floor mat? Why do you even need to be inside the car when the work is being done outside?!?! I'm pretty pissed and luckily the service guys know how well I take care of my car. I feel if they don't replace the carpet, the smell will always be there especially once it sits out in the Vegas sun. What are all your opinions and thoughts on this matter?

The first picture is from the back seat and the second picture I moved the floor mat to the trunk to prevent more spillage.

Hopefully it didn’t soak all the way through the carpet and mess up the paint on the body of the car. But definitely a new carpet is needed. He should have had some smart water before putting the brake fluid there.

theres no way the dealer is going to give you new carpet. they are going to shampoo the carpet to clean out the spilled brake fluid. if i was you i would ask to get 2 full free details, meaning the dealer does the full wash wax and interior cleaning and have them throw in some dent repairs if you got any current dents on the car.

Wow.. What a mess! Hopefully they pay to clean it up. Was this an infiniti dealer? Infiniti elite care?

I'm more curious how the rjm pedal causes faster slave wear, unless it was not adjusted properly.

RJM has claimed for years now that (when adjusted properly) it actually reduces CSC wear. So hearing that a dealership is blaming the RJM pedal for a factory design problem is pretty annoying.

My CSC blew out on me at only 18K miles (so under warranty at the time). I still remember that sick feeling having the pedal drop to the floor.
