if You want 350+ supercharged is the only way to go..
staying N/A to barley get close to 330whp will cost you more than the supercharger..

Eh, you save quite a bit the NA route IMO. And the Stillen kit is still pretty slow considering how much money you spend. If you want to go actually fast turbo or whipple charger is the way to go these days. The A2A kit actually loses HP over the standard stillen kit if the pulleys are the same. Brain K from chicago with from water to a2a and lost 50hp.

Things like exhaust have to be incorporated in the topgunz kit too. The supercharger needs a lot of supporting mods in addition to the cost of the kit. And the price of that kit is also "if you install it yourself". My friend took his G to Quantam Performance to have his kit installed and it was about 14k with install. And like I mentioned look at the quarter mile times for those supercharger kits, it's really not all that much faster than the NA 1/4th miles.

These days the NA route is IMO more cost effective, and less of a headache. Admin + Exhaust + Tune people are making 315whp~, and that's also not too far out of the way for getting boosted later anyway. I do agree maxing out the car NA will add up, but it's still no where near the cost of a supercharger.

That's interesting. I wonder what the differences in the 0-60 and 1/4 of a SC G37 is compared to a full BO (CAI, cat-back, cat delete) with a tune.

What mods are you taking about staying with N/A.

admin tuning intakes and his tune alone nets you +20whp..

Admin intake - 640
eps pcv delete - 130
ISR test pipes - 170
ISR y-pipe - 220
y-back exhaust - 600
tune - 850

$2600 total. You can sub the expensive Admin intakes for other intakes which are $100 cheaper and doesn't require a PCV delete kit to save over $200 bringing total cost to $2300-2400.

those are basic bolt ons that most people can do themselves if they have access to tools and a floor jack with stands.

All of that will put you close up 320whp. A stock g37 is around 270whp.

+50whp for ~$2,500

Now, if they could do that and keep the car quiet and basically emissions legal...

no way in hell your gaining. 50whp with those mods...
you better go to the dyno sections and read up..
dynos numbers don’t mean **** since they all read differnet..
you want real numbers go to the track.

if admin tuning is so great why isn’t everyone running them..
because they aren’t worth the cost for a few extra HP over others on the market.
if you tune any aftermarket intake it going to be about the same gains..
14k for a supercharger install I would have ran away..
6k for a supercharger kit and most people already have the supporting mods..
2.5k install and tune.. don’t know who it can be 14k
and let me know when a N/A car beats a supercharged car making 500whp..

but admin is dynoing all these cars on the same dynojet.

He remote tune Matt Lorentzoe g37x and it set the record for being the fastest NA G37 12.6 @ 109.

haters gonna hate.

From the FB with dyno sheets

" 327whp/281wtq with Gen3 intakes, and full Tomei Exhaust (stock headers). "

323whp/266wtq unknown mods but na w/ single exit

" 320whp/270wtq through Takeda intakes, ART pipes, and Motordyne catbac "

" 359whp/296wtq on a Mustang dyno.

This car has AdminTuning intakes, shorty headers, and Hall Built Y pipe and catback."

" Z1 intakes, ART pipes and Fast Intentions catback. Stock tune made 301/253, AdminTuning custom tune made 324/268 😍😍 +23whp/+15wtq. "

"
Marcus hopped on and got his 370Z tuned today, AdminTuning intakes, z1motorsports headers and Motordyne catback.

Walked out with 340whp/276wtq. Tuned using ECUTEK RaceROM 🤤🤤 check comments for graph. Great numbers for only 4 mods, this is a proven and consistent combo. 💯
"
remote tune : " Saad’s 7AT 370Z with AAM intakes, Motordyne LTH and ISR CBE making 336whp "

And if you don't believe one source there are a bunch of others making huge numbers NA these days with very little mods.

RZG's numbers (bolts only)
" 320whp/248wtq "

" Stillen intakes, test pipes, and ARK exhaust. Final numbers were 320whp/268wtq "

" ods are Stillen intakes, shorty header and muffler delete. Final numbers were 316whp/272wtq "

Z1 also hitting similar numbers. You're out of date! This is common place now.

I follow all the VQ communities, that's why I'm very skeptical of the supercharger performance. The same friend of mine who has his kit only ran 14's (I ran faster times in my no tune g35x). Granted he had a terrible drag setup. Even he admits they are slow. Brain K said he got rid of the super charger because he said "paid a ton to still be slow".

So yeah, I'm a little skeptical its worth the money compared to NA these days.

You guys are lucky. I would've modded my G37 already, but living in California, we get $1,000 tickets for "LOUD" and "MODIFIED" Exhausts

I would love to have modded my G though, but it's not worth the tickets / state ref.

Yeah, It’s really unfortunate that the government makes you live there. Can you imagine if you were allowed to move anywhere you wanted?!?

[Mod edit]Because this is funny to me, Ima let it stay. But no more.[/mod edit]
