Throttle (Acceleration) Lag

No More Throttle Lag
Hi
Guys i was having issues with my 2010 g37x sedan automatic about the throttle response and how slow it was and when i was trying to switch lanes in traffic and speed up and step hard on the gas pedal there would be a delay for me i think that is kinda dangerous so i ended up reading all the forums on this and finally got my sprint booster ended up costing me 330CAD and after the first drive it was amazing and so much more responsive even with i rev the card in parked its so much quicker. Just wanted to let everyone know that its worth the money and it was literally 10 minute install.

Your throttle response is exactly the same as it was before. All you did was front load the input signal and make the pedal more sensitive, so it feels more responsive. Nothing wrong with that at all, you're happy and enjoying the device.
Merged your two threads.

Side note if you want paddles there's a good chance it's prewired for them. I have a 2010 G37x Sedan w/ Nav & Bose (but not sport or Journey) and it was prewired. I got the paddles for $100 from a scrapper on ebay and the plastics for $120 from Concept Z Performance

Yea, I also drive an automatic G37 and this is normal. Automatic transmission is programmed to prioritize fuel consumption so basically your car is in "eco mode." If you want to accelerate faster when you want to pass someone, merge, or go uphill, just use your paddle shifter and down shift once or twice. You don't need to ground or buy a throttle booster or whatever people suggest. Just down shift to a lower gear and you wont be able to feel that throttle lag . I hope this helps.
