That does look nice. They have definitely upped their game. Maybe it is just the angle of the picture, but I wonder if the screens being pushed away and up makes it any more difficult to see out.

When I see that, I see big wasted $$$ signs and nothing that appeals to me, but that's just my personal opinion. I'm also a bit younger than some of the folks here, different generational tastes perhaps.

Haha, well yes, I did turn 60 recently. And that interior looks so welcoming and luxurious to me.

But the Nautilus is too large for us, whereas the Corsair is just a tarted up Escape that I'm not interested in. Although I've always been drawn to Lincoln, and it's hard to explain why.

Go back 20 years, and I would have taken a Lincoln LS over the Mustang in a hot minute.

A local judge down here has a Corsair and loves it. My company car is an Escape. You're right, he's basically got my car with leather LOL.

I'm still waiting for a full augmented reality windshield.

Excellent. Cool pic, too.

So what's the plan? At a minimum you test drive it, and at the most you actually buy it? Or is this already locked & loaded as your next purchase?

Doesn’t look like the best conditions for a test driving a car with summer tires

I have off Wednesday so I should get to drive it then to make sure it does not beat up my back too badly and the seats are easy enough to get in and out of with the big side bolsters. If that stuff checks out and it feels as special to drive as everyone says I will buy it. I drove a Type S before which has the same suspension, but is tuned differently to ride smoother. It rode ok, but my back has probably also improved a bit. If the Type R rides decently I can always swap out the damper controller with one from a Type S to improve the ride. It's crazy to think that you can tune a suspension with a computer now, but here we are.

If the Type R does not pan out, then my next choice will more than likely be a black GTI SE 380. Ironically, one of those also just arrived. Those cars are definitely easier to get so I would probably wait a bit to get one. I would also wait to see if the next SE has the stickier Bridgestone tires instead of these Hankooks. It is totally random which tires go on which model looking at the 8 GTIs we just got in. Also a blue Integra Type S just got traded in with 3,400 miles. This year is turning out to be a much better year already for fun cars.

Thankfully, it warmed up and rained the last few days so the roads are pretty good right now. Last week would have been a disaster.

If memory serves me correctly it is $52,900 which is a little less expensive than new and almost makes sense because it is Acura Certified so it gets another 2 years of warranty. I could be way off though since I have yet to research used Type S cars, if there are even many of them out there.

Damn, that’s almost new MSRP. Agree on the CPO benefits though. Still more than the CTR.
