I was looking through all the pics of the new M3/M4 and discovered the below pic that looks like it has sliding calipers on the back. Not an ideal setup for track days, but I believe this is the carbon ceramic option. They also had a nice shot under the hood and it seems to be the only thing not covered up/disguised in the photos. I also noticed that the M3 still looks like it has the more aggressive wider rear fenders than the M4 so the bodywork on the side should look pretty good.
They got rid of the beautiful carbon fiber engine brace, but it still looks the business under hood.
I recently read that the new M3 can be down shifted without auto rev matching in normal driving modes. I remember this complaint before about needing to disable traction control completely before being able to downshift on your own. However, I am pretty sure that when I drove a few M3's, the auto rev matching was only in certain driving modes. It was either that or that the feature had been coded out somehow.
Yup! A face only a mother could love. Maybe it looks a little better without the camo wrap, but I'm not quite sure how.
That is hideous. BMW truly lost its values at this point. Just a mere badge, with weird engine configurations, and oversized kidney grilles. A Camry. I don't care about the power it makes or the quarter mile times, I just want a good handling car. None of the newer ones after the golden era can match the excitement and pristine handling dynamics as my old E39. It's tearful. I just follow this diagram from Bimmerforums:
As much as I hate hyundai and kia, the g70 seems like a worthwhile contender. I'd love to see that engine in a crossover/suv. The G70 isn't much larger than the G. The G had less interior space than our accord. Try fitting a lawn mower into an accord!

I think a G70 2.0t with the 6mt and a JB4 or stage 1 tune would be pretty nice.
^^I'm too old to consider a car with 4cyl a performance car. At this stage of the game I don't even car if it's MT. Just realizing I need more utility than a car can provide. A bike isn't too far out of the equation either. Saw my dream bike today - bmw k1600gt... Someday I will own one!!!!
