But not the M3, at least the "base" model according to the following article. I am bummed that the AWD versions will only be DSG though.

I am open to suggestions otherwise. Regardless of the power though I wonder if Nissan/Infiniti will ever fix their infotainment system.
^ there are still plenty of 6MT cars available, but they are spread across numerous vehicle classes. if memory serves - porsche, honda, mazda, bmw, subaru, toyota, nissan, genesis, jeep, dodge, chevy, and likely a few others and/or exotics all offer manual gearboxes. but these comprise a very wide range of everything from civics to tacoma pickups to hi-po corvettes. direct replacement competitors to the G37S 6MT are a very thin group indeed.

I wouldn't want a brand new one either. 2015 and 2016's with low miles are going for close to or under $40k which is a pretty big bargain. I imagine the new one would too, but time will tell if it is worth a longer wait. It doesn't sound like power will be that much different so the AWD will probably be the biggest change- great, but I wish it was with a stick shift.

Well, if anyone is hitting high mileage or looking for an even more rare G37 6spd, I just found a red one with low miles. I think this would be a good replacement: https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?listingId=500491437&zip=54911 &referrer=%2Fcars-for-sale%2Fsearchresults.xhtml%3Fzip%3D54911%26startYe ar%3D1981%26vehicleStyleCodes%3DSEDAN%26incrementa l%3Dall%26endYear%3D2019%26modelCodeList%3DG37%26m akeCodeList%3DINFIN%26transmissionCodes%3DMAN%26so rtBy%3DderivedpriceDESC%26lastExec%3D2019-01-22T18%253A29%253A38.003Z%26firstRecord%3D0%26marke tExtension%3Don%26searchRadius%3D0%26trimCodeList% 3DG37%257CSport&startYear=1981&numRecords=25&vehic leStyleCodes=SEDAN&firstRecord=0&endYear=2019&mode lCodeList=G37&makeCodeList=INFIN&searchRadius=0&ma keCode1=INFIN&modelCode1=G37&clickType=listing

I know not everyone wants to rock a rebuilt salvage title, but I couldn't be more happy about my choice to pick up my 6MT car. Already had a ton of nice mods, low miles, and only $11,500. As I mentioned previous I have no intent on selling it so the rebuilt salvage doesn't impact me much.

@4DRZ, look at the autocheck link (https://www.autotrader.com/redirect/...glGBoDrAGEQs7n). It references a TX locale as late as 10/2018. Maybe the audotrader listing is somehow corrupt.
Its a shame there aren't any around

It is shocking how many are listed as manuals, but are automatics.

While I agree, it's no surprise that a high-volume seller of a "lux" marque depreciates quickly (not to mention Infiniti's stunt with Q40 rebrading/MSRP drop). While us formumers sure do cherish our cars (the 6MT is a particularly proud bunch), the market doesn't really follow suit. Even for the ones with 3 pedals.
Personally, the low resale value has kept me from making the financially unwise decision to move on to something else (but also appreciate what I have), so no complaints from me

At a certain point other things depreciate much more quickly. My car is worth 6k, I bought it for 10k a 2.5 years ago. I am getting a smog check today. I don't know why I am nervous about that other than it being California. I have found a 2013 Model S85 for 29k obo. I would think they were 90k 6 years ago. If you wanted a car for appreciation, you should try to find an old untouched 60s-70s muscle car.
