Code Red air quality. 95+ degrees. Multiple hard pulls this morning alone. Pretty sure it laughed at me at some point.

Owned for 6 months, put 10k miles on her in DC traffic and ask her to perform every day and on the weekends. Some will chime in, you have to drive pretty aggressively in order to daily DC metro area and 270.

That said, my car gets all fluids changed on time and I go over it with a fine tooth comb easily 3-5 times a week. Takes all of 10-15 minutes maybe in total. Just walk around the car and pop the hood. If something doesn't look right, I address it immediately.

Was just clarifying as there are dealers that members have used that are doing this service. And yes, the majority of these problems were back in the day. This scenario would be much more likely on a transmission that had fluid that was past it's shelf life w/ that brown/burned condition.

I'm still not sure why all Infiniti dealers aren't just using their own FSM 3x drain & fill service

I can confirm, it was offered to me and I had to specify I wanted the 3x refill. When they quoted me $100 I knew something was off lol.

yeah, going rate for changing the old atf rather than just diluting it seems to be about $250-300, most of that being the cost for Matic-S. DIY ran me less than $150 with most of that being obtaining the fill plug adapter and rigging up a pump. Fluid was only about $60 for 3 gallons of maxlife, so the next change will be dirt cheap.
