Top Speed Pro-1
Hey everyone,
So probably a dumb question, but recently I got my self a 2010 G37 Anniversary Edition and want to get an after market exhaust. I have settled on the Top Speed Pro-1. It's probably been asked and answered but here it is once again.
This is the sedan axle-back Exhaust: Infiniti G35 G37 Sedan 07-14 Top Speed Pro-1 Axle-Back Exhaust System (Bevel Edge Tips) - Top Speed Pro 1 Performance
This is the Y-pipe Exhaust: Infiniti G35 G37 Sedan 07-14 Top Speed Pro-1 Y-pipe Back Exhaust System Bevel Edge Tips
Is it worth the extra $250?
Also why is the axle back exhaust without the canister things on the mufflers while the Y-pipe Exhaust has those canister barrel things.... wow canister barrel things sounds awful lol.

This is the only one I'd get (and I have one of the first ones, about 6 years old now).
Infiniti G35 G37 Sedan 07-14 Top Speed Pro-1 Y-pipe Back Exhaust System Bevel Edge Tips
The ones you listed are basically just muffler deletes w/ SS tips.

second one
Have the second one listed. Love it especially for the price.
Here a video of the sound. This is when it was new. It sounds much better now. but it isn't too loud

I enjoyed my Y-Back for about a year now and in terms of sound, build quality & fitment its a great deal. No rasp or droning worries with this system, you'll be a happy camper fsure.

There's also the J2 catback, it's a full catback (not a y-back) and seems to be a decent setup for the price

Z1 RFHC/ 12" Vibrant Resonators
Alright my dudes. So I have a stock catback with 12" vibrants and z1 rfhc and its raspy as ****. SoooOOoOo. I've been thinking what will benefit me more. The y pipe back or muffler delete top speed pro axle back. I want it loud but not screaming loud. I do know they have stopped making the y pipe back, but it doesn't hurt to email them?

Honestly, for the money, this thing is hard to beat. The car isn't obnoxious. On the contrary, it sounds refined and sporty. There is virtually 0 drone, and the raspiness mostly occurs only during a cold start. It opens up incredibly in higher RPM ranges as well. Yes, the welds get a tiny bit of surface rust on them, yes, it stains easily and likes to be polished, yes, its still worth it.

Flat black
From the sound of it, it may not be but I do not know. Do you have a picture & what did you use? Thanks

Sorry to bring back this old thread, but I wanted to ask if you had any clips of your exhaust as I was thinking of pairing my nonresonated axle back with 12 in. vibrant resonators in the future to make it a bit louder? Thanks.
