Yea looks like somebody converted it to a sport front. It's not a sport for sure since it's got the regular seats. If you can get it for 10k and it checks out fine, good deal.

Given all the history on it? I can post the car proof for you guys if it helps???

I can get it for 11,350 right now... is that a good deal still?

I think he will come down more, what's the best bottom line price you think?

Keep in mind, this is CAD dollars.

It's all dependent on whether or not the car was properly repaired. You really need to get it inspected before even making an offer to the guy.

The journey has one. This has 2. At least you know now, that the front ends been wrecked. The problem with buying salvage cars is you don't know if the frame was repaired. Guy could have just covered all the underlying damage with new bumper cover, fender and reamed out the holes for a decent panel alignment. Even my first G that was repaired by professional body shop (insurance) had panel alignment issues. I had to send it back to them for another week to get fixed right and it still wasn't perfect.

Right.. thanks.

The offer is dependent on if the car has a clean bill of health, after inspection(s), of course.

So, the 65,000km rear frame damage car for 12k is not worth it, but this 2011 one with 87,000km, that had $33,000 in accident repair claims over it's life, at 10k approx is worth getting checked out?

It's been wrecked three times? The front center at over $24000 must have been a hard hit.

Yea, all that front end damage is worrying. But if they say it has no frame damage it's worth getting it checked out. 10k CAD is what.. around 7k USD? Seems like a good deal to me if it's all properly fixed.

Correct.

10000 Canadian Dollar equals
7506.66 US Dollar

I'm not sure if frame damage would be mentioned on the car proof though, because it was never sent to an auction I don't think... It was a salvage title basically 7 days into it's life. I'm really not sure if it's required to be on the car proof perhaps it is already assumed or whatever.

I think I'll reach out to car proof and ask them to confirm that..

If you get it inspected make sure they check the alignment. You don't want to have to buy new tires every 10,000 miles. But, IDK that car maybe cursed.

The owner who bought it in 2014, didn't even buy or look at the car proof for the car, he didn't know about the history he just knew it was a rebuilt car with a salvage title... I don't understand that line of thinking at all but then again I am quite a paranoid person by nature.

Anyways, yeah definitely I'll get it inspected as thoroughly as possible.

Thanks for the replies guys, I appreciate it.

Gotta wait and see if the owner even bites @ 10k, he is at 11350 currently.

Me personally I would walk away and fast, and never look back on this car.
