Infiniti High Performance G - What Top 5 things would you want?
Anyone who lives at altitude will tell you that turbo>NA. I lose something like 10% of power being NA, people on here will spend thousands to gain 30hp, and I lose that much just for where I live.
If Infiniti would have made a IS-F,M3, or C63 competitor out of the G (similar to the Eau Rouge concept but out of the G platform like they should have. What are the Top 3 changes you think it would have needed to compete
If only the G came from the factory a bit more aggressive with a bit more power it would be perfect, we can only dream though

I still have to argue that it isn't the point. We are not talking production car here. The title of the thread is top 5 things you would want lol. I am stating if infiniti upped the size of the turbos they chose then the motor could in essence rev out higher. I assure you this new 3.0 tt won't be able to make much more peak power than it does factory because the turbos are probably right at peak efficiency.
I don't dislike turbos. In fact, my original suggestion was to have the car be turbo since it is easier/cheaper to tune a turbo car for more hp than replace a ton of parts on an N/A car. I simply mentioned that I liked the higher redline I have in my G37S than all my previous turbo cars.
You simply said having a higher redline than turbo cars is nice...
That is a generic statement that I was commenting on saying that just because a car has a turbo doesn't mean it can't rev high.
I don't get what point you are trying to argue otherwise. My assumption is we are just miscommunicating due to this being via text and not an in person conversation.
And yes the original post referenced a few production cars and what infiniti would have needed to do to keep up so yes we are stating things that we would have needed to have changed to the G.

The other point I was trying to make is that since this post is about changes we want to see Infiniti make on the car from the factory- performance factory turbo cars typically have lower redlines and make peak power lower than performance factory N/A cars. I think I have provided plenty of examples of this so let's just move on.
Lol you are too funny. Relax man. As I just said I wasn't really arguing with you I was saying you were taking this the wrong way and it was just miscommunication due to it being via text where emotion is more difficult to present. The ONLY point I was trying to get across is that infiniti could turbo the car and still retain the high redline you specifically enjoy. On that note, if you don't comprehend this, I am done discussing the topic.
