I started shopping for a new car around Labor Day. Ford had a special, as did Chevy and Dodge.

I want a V8 car...that's what I have mu sights on. I started out wanting a Mustang, but the back seat doesn't have enough head room...the Camaro is worse.

What really caught my eye was the Dodge Charger Scat Pack. Dodge has been playing a game for the past 2 months where they offer 20% back on the oldest 15% of their inventory as of the 3rd of each month. I assume they'll do it again tomorrow...but it's been hard finding a special deal on a 2016 Scat Pack.

The responsible thing to do would be keep the G37...but the fun side of me wants a V8...a new one at that

SHUT UP DAVE RAMSEY!!! Get out of my head!!!

This is also on my list, but you can't test drive a new one. There's a seatbelt recall which is taking forever to get parts...so no test drives until the middle of November.

Clearly everyone has their own opinion, but man to say the GTR looks and sounds terrible I could never see your point there...EVER.

I've always liked the ISF, however all the new Lexus front ends have to be hands down the worst design I've ever seen.

And I'm actually a fan of the RC and would be about the only Lexus I would even consider owning at this point.

But then again from some of your responses about not wanting to draw attention or flashy...you choose right with a Lexus.

In end, as long as your happy, which from the sound of it seems like it. But I did appreciate your review on the car and comparisons. Always nice to see those

As you can see by my sig I've had two G coupes as well, but always thought they both looked and sounded better than GTR. I was always pretty big on manual cars as well, but can't talk as much smack with my current flappy paddles The R35 has just never appealed to me and they are so common that I don't consider them an exotic or rare at all for the price.

I came to a '13 G37S from a 1997 5 speed SC300 and 2000 P38 Range Rover. I love them all. In the future I'll probably upgrade to a LC500

edit: On the topic of the GTR being ugly...I used to think it was too. Until I stood next to one in person. The GTR is by far the least photogenic vehicle ever. In real life, it is gorgeous.

As much as I love my G37, I'll be switching over to Euro most likely for my next car. Considered a used GTR, but practicality and comfort issues are veering me away from it. Unless I can find an amazing deal on one, the next car is going to be a BMW M. Ideally a M3 or an M5. (Pros and cons to both of them imo)

My thoughts as well. The IS-F is a badass car, but I could never deal with how small and tight the interior feels, especially with rugrats.
