Exclamation P2135 error code throttle position sensor

So I was driving my car and I was slowing down because I was coming to a light. The light turned green before I stopped and while I was rolling stepped on the gas and nothing happened... I floored it but still nothing. The service engine soon light came on. The car was still rolling so I pulled into a parking lot and turned the car off. I turned the car back on, the light was still on but the car was operating properly all the way home. The car has done this multiple times since then. I took the car to autozone and I got Error code P2135 Throttle position sensor range/performance. "Code P2135 indicates that with the ignition on the PCM detected the difference between the throttle/ pedal position sensor / switch A signal and the throttle/ pedal position sensor/ switch B signal was greater than the maximum allowable value."

Please help. I haven't been able to find just the sensor and if I do need to change the entire throttle body how do I know which one to change?

P2135 is for bank 1, the passenger side throttle body and it must be replaced as a unit. (no parts/sensors are available separately)

If you know how to use a multi-meter you can use the factory shop manual is here: Index of /FSM/G37/Sedan/2011
Look at "EC.pdf" page 1031 to troubleshoot.

Hello sonic vq. I'm not seeing a pg 1031 on the nico site/PDF file for the EC. On my 2009 or 2011 g37. It on goes to pg 619.

Some EC copies are divided in half with the first being "VQ37VHR for USA and Canada" while the second being "VQ37VHR for Mexico." Why the distinction I don't know.

Just look up your code in the index and go from there.
