Serpentine Belt Glazed

I recently replaced my serpentine belt with a Dayco almost than 2 months ago and I'm noticing that it is already glazed. The smooth side is shiny and I see that the sides of the belt look a little frayed. The belt probably has less than 2000 miles on it.

I didn't change the tensioner or any pulleys. I had a slight coolant leak from the upper hoses after I changed it as well and know I got some coolant on the belts that were not immediately cleaned off.

I never heard any squealing or chirping at all since the change. Anyone know what is causing the the belt to wear so quickly?

Mileage of vehicle? Probably worn tensioner or misaligned pulley.

Picture will help us. Most belt should have warranty so can always get another. Try to get one made in the USofA
