Black Out Rear Badges! Plasti? Flexi?
With my last car, I was on a mission to powdercoat a bunch of engine bits in Black Chrome. It's a beautiful finish, very much like the Black Nickel plating process that R2C does with their intake mid-pipes.

Did you sand that emblem?
Yep, it's a thing.

It comes out decent. I think blnewt's suggestion for commercial clear coat could improve the look, or at least a bit of wet sanding or polishing just a bit. But on its own with the clear coat that comes in the kit is good enough for smaller surfaces like emblems.
