Well done!
And the best thing is if you didn't like it, it's easy to remove, cost less than a beer, and probably took less time than waxing the car.
Neither get very glossy even with glossifier.
If you want a satin finish that's fine. I used plasti-dip on my grill w/o glossifier and I'm very satisfied.
I personally prefer a gloss finish on the emblems, so when I did my engine cover emblem, I used duplicolor black chrome and clear coat.
I def prefer that to dip on the badges, but it is not nearly as easy to remove.

It comes out decent. I think blnewt's suggestion for commercial clear coat could improve the look, or at least a bit of wet sanding or polishing just a bit. But on its own with the clear coat that comes in the kit is good enough for smaller surfaces like emblems.
When I dipped my badges the first time I tried to finesse the S by peeling the face and leaving the outline black but it didn't come out right,
So when I did it over I just left it all black
I don't like how the red S look with the silver trim around it next to s whole bunch of black badges..
I feel u tho bro the red would look much better

Yep, it's a thing.

Did you try to trace the red with a razor/ x-Acto blade before removing the black?
