Ditto. It actually works for those who have never tried it, even if you look like a goof ball doing it.

WOW that's cool thanks for posting this. I didn't even know you could buy this.
Like I've said before I have the Viper 5901 alarm on my Mustang and I can start the car from about a mile away. I don't really need that much range on my Infiniti but I need way more range then the oem fob has. What exact part would I need to buy for just longer range since I already have the auto start feature. A link would be great. Please post a video of how far you can be from the car when you start it after you get yours installed.

Yes it does... I've been doing it for years on all my cars.

I can also vouch for the chin trick. A co-worker showed me this years ago joking that he had a steel plate in his head that worked like an antenna. It does work and actually just saw this on a show on Netflix claiming that it worked due to all the water in our heads. I cannot remember if it was Kal Penn's show or Hacking the System so I must have too much water in my head.

Putting mine under my chin somehow increases the range too lol.

viper has a smart phone app feature allowing you to unlock/start car from anywhere in the world. literally anywhere. it'll run you about $100 installed (obviously less if you DIY) and then about $80/yr

Its pretty useful, especially since i travel alot. it allows me to start my vehicles for 12min at a time; also i can tell immediately if the alarm is triggered no matter where i am (as long as i have cell phone service or wifi)
