"Sport Appearance Package" Question

Is this the "Sport Appearance Package"?
This car has 9 spoke rims, front chin spoiler, back grill and rear spoiler:

My reason for asking is that I just bought it and couldn't find much info about it.

Isn't that the anniversary edition? The rims are what give it away.

If it's a 2010 it could be the anniversary edition, it could also be the Limited Edition, here's a 2012 Limited edition, and they do come w/ the Sport pkg, so you get all the good stuff, CONGRATS!

Sorry, I should of mentioned the year. It is a 2011 G37 Sport originally purchased from Tustin Infiniti in California.

I saw the "Sport Appearance Package" but I thought it was only in black with a red interior. Mine is white with a black leather interior.

Was this a dealer package?

From what I can see you have the 4-pot Akebonos up front, which means you have the true sport package. I assume these were factory, not added on. So you have the full sport package, not just the sport appearance package that the AWD models have. I can't tell what other packages it may or may not have, but those wheels are apart of the AE or LE models I believe.

Exactly. Although I can't for-sure see the front caliper. Looks like the Akebono caliper to me, though.

OP, is it RWD or AWD? If it's RWD and has that bumper, then your car has the genuine sport package, not "sport appearance". That means limited slip, tighter steering, staggered rims, summer tires, big brakes and sport shocks... all that in addition to the appearance stuff, like your seats and bumper.

How in the world could you have just bought it, but not know what you bought? That's crazy.

If it's a 2011 it will be the anniversary edition & will have the big front brakes which from your picture they are showing through the wheel spokes. And even though you didn't know what you bought, you bought a good one

Thanks to all for the help in this question.

Don't get me wrong... I knew it was a "G37 S", as that is what I was looking for to replace my lovely E39 530.

Before I purchased it, I saw this:
2012 Infiniti G37 Sedan Limited Edition | Infiniti USA.

and this made me think it was some sort of "package" or "special edition"

Maybe a few pics will help:

Is the the "G37 Sedan Sport Appearance Edition" as mentioned here:
2011 Infiniti G Sedan Press Kit - Press Kit - Infiniti Online Newsroom

Thanks in advance!

SonicVQ, forgot to welcome you to the site, so WELCOME!
Your G is the Limited Edition, this is better than the Sport Appearance package as that's only wheels and a few other cosmetic upgrades, yours has the true sport package w/ big brakes, limited slip diff, sport suspension, tighter steering ratio, & thigh bolstered seats along w/ a few other goodies.
In other words, WINNING!

SonicVQ, the 6MT was an entirely separate sub-model. There were 3 Sedan models, regardless of how they were badged:
  1. Journey - G37 base RWD, and G37S Sport RWD, both automatics
  2. AWD - G37x base, and G37xS sport appearance package, automatic only
  3. 6MT - G37S sport RWD with a proper manual transmission

The 6MT was the top-end model, because from 2011 to 2013 it came standard with the Premium and Navigation Packages, as well as all the actual Sport Package features. Some would say the G37xS was the top-end sedan. They would be wrong, LOL.

That's correct. The G37S Sedan (RWD Sport and 6MT) came with 18x7.5" wheels up front, and 18x8.5" wheels in back.

As mentioned, the LE were auto only. I think OP has a S with upgraded wheels.
