It does take quite a while for the part to get made and shipped from Poland, but if you are patient (unlike me), then it should not be a problem.
The quality is very good as the leather is much thicker than the stock vinyl and it looks much nicer than stock, especially if you get a matching shiftboot like I did. It basically looks just like the leather and stitching of the seats.
Does the pack have the perforated leather? i cant find it in those pictures.
Yes. It does. Red, black, and charcoal AFAIK. Top pic, bottom row third from the right for the red, second pic top row on the left is black, and obviously Rochester got charcoal.
Better yet, I'll send you the swatches...actually, wait, you live by me. We could meet up and you can have the packet, then send it on when your done.
I never followed up with my Redline experience apparently.
I made the horrible mistake of ordering the "alcantera like material" which was terrible quality, almost felt feeling junk. I had gotten the shift boot and armrest. I should have just gotten the perforated leather like you did, which looks fantastic. I think I ended up just reselling it to someone in the marketplace section...
I went with Redline again for my S2000, wheel cover and shift boot. Here's a dirty post installation picture. Its very nice quality stuff with good fitment, you just have to choose the right material.
Did you notice the goofy alignment in the perforation pattern on my lid? I sent RedlineGoods a pic, and after some email discussion they offered to make it right. However, since I've already spent money on an upholsterer, I decided to keep the lid as-is, and ordered a shift boot instead.
Good customer service at RedlineGoods.
Word to the wise... If someone is reading this in the future, and you get perforated leather in the top-section of the armrest cover, be sure to explicitly request Redline align the perf pattern to the stitching.
Now that you mentioned it I can't unsee it. That would bother me to no end lol.
Their customer service is so-so. For the wheel I asked specifically for the version which can go OVER the original wrap but they still sent me the one where I had to remove the old cover first. Then when I emailed them they just sent back a short little 1 line email "you need to remove the old one." When I asked if they could send the correct one they just ignored the email. Sent another email a few days later and they ignored that as well.
Obviously in the end I made it work though. (I had to unwrap the original cover)
What did they offer you? Just a coupon? or a free replacement?

He asked me not to share the details, which is fine.
In the end, the advertised price for both boots and the cover is only $50/each... so it's not like buying defective $2000 coilovers, know what I mean? The offer was generous enough for me to say OK, thanks.
As for not being able to un-see the pattern... the armrest is at 4:00 from a sitting position, almost behind you when driving. You might glance at it when getting into the car, and passengers might be noticing the leather. But really, the armrest isn't an obvious component to the interior.
That looks nice. How much of a pain was it to remove the steering wheel leather and stitch up the new cover? I cannot imagine that was anything remotely close to easy or quick.

At least, that's what I'm telling myself.
Setting the timer now for how long it takes before you pull off the misaligned armrest cover. Wow, that's not even close to lined up. And why didn't they perforate the sides?
