Redline Shift Boot and Interior Samples

Hey Fellow G-Heads,

Rochester started a pay-it-forward with the Redline Goods sample swatches. I've made my choices and I'm ready to send the samples to the next person.

There are many options packed into this little bag and they are inexpensive to send.

Let's use this thread to keep track of the samples and as a clearing house for sending them on to the next person.

Please respond with your interest and PM me your address and I will send them to you. Be sure not to let this round-about wither. This is a great time for interior upgrades....like we need an excuse, right?

If you aren't familiar with Redline: Shift boot store - RedlineGoods leather shift boots

Sean

Whose got the sample pack?

1. Rochester
2. VIVID
3. lobuzz311

And these:

To work with the "Stone" interior, I selected perforated Charcoal for my shift boot:

Worked out pretty good, IMO:

I'm more and more interested in the Redline products after seeing Rochester's boot and the arm rests (being Polish doesn't hurt either). I'd love to get the samples to check out the perforated black leather, basically.
Vivid, I'll send you a PM.
I should only need to hold onto them for a day or two, then send them to the next person.
This is awesome, by the way. Thanks for giving these up to the community, Rochester!

Got the tracking. Thanks!
Whoever wants them next, send me a PM. I'll ship out as soon as I have a chance to check them out.

Vivid, you should keep a list in the first post (if you don't mind maintaining it) on who it gets sent to to. Would be fun to see how menu times it goes around and also to know who had them last.

Not sure why I was expecting otherwise, but those were tiny! I laughed out loud when I opened the package.

The samples are ready to go to the next person. As discussed, the perforated black is a good match for the stock black leather.

IF YOU WANT THE SAMPLES, SEND ME A PM and I will send them on.

I probably should have use a quarter, or something for scale, next to them for the picture.

I can vouch for the quality of the leather- much thicker and nicer than stock. Here is a new pic of the shortened shift boot I just installed to match the height better with my B&M shift kit. (If anyone wants my stock height boot that looks identical, it will be for sale)

That really does look great!!! You're right it's thick.

I'm going with the same leather and black stitching. Very classy.

Cool.

PM lobuzz311 and make arrangements to have the samples sent to you so you can choose. Or if you know what you want just go to Redline's site and order up.

I don't think enough of us have seen the red interior to make that call. I would actually say you're better off trying to match one of the other colors in the car (black, silver, gray, etc). The reasoning being that if the red isn't perfectly matched, it will stand out like a sore thumb.

If you have the Monaco Red interior, is the shift boot red?

Was the 6MT ever even offered in the LE or AE?
