New to me 2013 G37xs, impression so far
As many others have said, you bought the wrong package. The coupe xS is fine, but the sedan is just an x with the Sport appearance really. The S is epic even in automatic form, and it can keep up with Miatas, 370Zs, you name it. I take it canyon running all the time and the handling is bar-none. I have yet to drive a car I love as much as this thing. If you have to have AWD, get the coupe, because the S sedan is leaps and bounds better than the xS.
Regardless of package, all stock G's understeer in a big way. It's very frustrating, and very easy to fix. I suspect that if the OP installed a set of aftermarket swaybars, he'll do a 180 on his opinions.
You owe it to yourself to drive a RWD S model before finalizing your opinion. The steering ratio is much quicker, paddle shifters, sport seat, stiffer suspension & other upgrades. Mine flies around corners. You might try clearing your ECU as it slowly transitions to grandma mode if you don't drive aggressively.
An XS is really not a "S".

I know you already heard this, but you should have bought have the RWD S and used winter wheels/tires in the cold weather months. Infinti, like many of its competitors, took a RWD platform and softened it by offering AWD to sell more cars. The G was designed to be RWD and the VQ motor is perfectly matched with a 6MT.

If the OP found the XS sedan to be rough handling, the rwd S sedan would be stiffer yet. As for steering, IIRC, the XS _coupe_ does have the true sporty bits of the rwd S coupe or sedan, including the vlsd, sport suspension, bbk, and tighter steering.
Look at the attchment, under the g37x coupe, page 5, sport package.
Recalling test drive of the XS sedan (never drove a true xs coupe), we barely got 2 blocks away from the dealer before returning. The car felt like a sponge with wheels. Lacked the responsive handling I was looking for. The car was to be a replacement for a sportbike-- sort of. I was used to stiff/rough rides. The rwd S sedan while stiff, doesn't seem all that harsh and will well controlled.

As an X owner myself, I had very similiar feelings first coming to the car. Had loads of straight line uhmp but was uninspiring around the twisties. First things I did was new break kit and as others have mentioned, lower sway bars. By far the most bang for the buck mod you can do with the G, especially the X model due to its tenancies to under steer and has a good amount of body roll. Do yourself a favor, buy the Sways and get back to us, I'm sure your opinion will change dramatically.
