Mike, remember getting together last year, and how you were eyeballing my custom magnaflow tips that I had at the time? (This was before the FI catback upgrade.) Anyway, recall how they looked from a direct behind the car perspective? The single wall design made them all but disappear, which was an awkward look. Keep that in mind.

So... Im thinking if you had two 2.5" rolled edge round tips side by side, no angle cut, that would work with the diffuser.

I need help in buying a new exhaust. Im going for the motordyne for my g37 coupe, what do you guys think of it? Ive never heard it in person, i just watched it on video. Its almost $2k way over my spending limit but i really like how it sounds. Do you guys recommend another exhaust?

Hey Mike, to heck with your tips, instead let's talk to this Coupe noob about random exhausts. LOLOLOL

The tips look like the oval stock units, so I wasn't sure.

It appears that changing tips on the stock mufflers require cutting the old ones off anyway, so I doubt many will take this route.

Lots of stock "Tip Mod" info in this thread?

Yes I remember John.

Oh no of course I do not want single wall tips ever, I don't like it and the fact they disappear. I know one thing it'll be either rolled round tips or double wall round tips and I think no angle cut as well but 2.5" might be too small and hard to find something that I like , maybe more like 3"

Those are the 3" OD tips with 2.5" inlet, which are the smallest they make I believe.

However, since they fabricate to order, perhaps they can make tips with a 2.5" OD so you have more room to fit.

Tips are individually made, though, so you'd still need a y-pipe.
Well since I will have to make the tip opening larger already anyway why bother with smaller size like 2.5" which might look odd and small. I'm probably going to aim for 3" but I need something that is already in one piece, I don't have the time to have them individually made then welded together, I need something that's good to go and be welded on there, so individual tips won't cut it , thank you though

I can tell you right now that I will be very impatient with this until I get the quads installed so I want to make this project as painless as possible haha

A shop for what though? The shop I'm gonna go to for the welding exhaust tips and making the exhaust tip opening bigger is a shop who does a lot of nice Euro style projects, Audis, BMWs, Porsches, and many other cars and they've done extensive wide body work too so I don't see that as a problem for them.

They're called AMS Autowerks

Ok people, please just post quad tips that you have in mind, or websites that you think have a good selection/variety of quad tips, and Brad if you could update the OP that'd be awesome thank you sir

As to what are my likings, either rolled or double wall tips, no single wall nor angle cut tips

Found these Magnaflow tips that I liked, I guess I'll be checking them out. Maybe have them install my decklid spoiler if that's possible. Thank you

Mike, your G is getting an angrier look as time goes on so as it gets more aggressive IMO the tips should get bigger. A 4.5" single tip or dual 3" tips would look pretty good. If you want to go all-in here's the 130mm GTHaus tips, but I think they go for about $1k just for the tips

Meh quad tips look much more aggresive and unique if you ask me and besides I don't like the GTHaus tips with that thing in the middle anyway. This is my best chance to get my quad tips I've always wanted !

That settles it! Quads it is! I didn't think you'd want those 5" blow horns, just throwing it in the mix since that's the most extreme end of the scale
Those ones above look pretty good^^^ If they look that good on a Tiburon they'd rock on your G!
