2010 G37x battery dying?

Has anyone had the issue of their battery dying after the car has been sitting for a day? My battery tests fine. I read something about some issues that were related to the 08-09 with the BCM and some vent thing, but nothing on the 10+ model years. My dealer is wanting 130 an hour to diagnose and says if it is one of those issues it will be around 500-600 bucks.

Thanks!

How old is your battery? Rather than paying $130 or more for a diagnosis, you might consider replacing it. If it's the original that's 5 years old that's a no brainer. You can get a very good battery for about $100.

Yeah. I ordered a new one today and waiting for my gf to get home for lunch so I can go pick it up. Hopefully I won't have the issue with the new one. Thanks!

They seem to have them made to last exactly one month past the warranty, at least that's been my experience.
FWIW not even sure if it would be covered??

Replacement within 24 months, prorated thereafter up to 84.

I agree...change out the battery...I did the same (I have a 2012) and for peace of mind after buying the car used, I feel better knowing I now have a new battery. I went with the Optima Yellow top...Summit Racing has them for $179 and I had a coupon code, so I got it delivered for $151. I do a lot of traveling so when I leave my car at the airport for 3-6 days at a time, the Optima performs like it should...starts up without issues. I've had the yellow top on prior cars...btw, if you're installing your new battery, check out Youtube for a DIY -- you need to take off part of the cowl - on the battery side. it's easy.

Need Advice on this as well

I have a '12 x Sedan and within the last week, my battery has died twice. What's weird is that the dealership replaced the battery under warranty in January of this year so it's not an old battery. I don't put a ton of miles on it (~3,000 miles a year) since I use public transportation. Roadside assistance guy who jumpstarted my car says it might be an electrical issue so I'm dropping off my car at the dealership tomorrow morning.

Any others have this experience on the 2012 or any thoughts on what it might be?

If you don't drive your car much there is trickle drain that will cause starting issues. If you don't drive it for a week at a time that may be a culprit.

2011 here, had it sit for one week last year with original battery and had no problems and again this year for a week with a new exide agm battery. Sounds great at start up with a fresh battery, I paid a premium for this one but I hold a high standard for my car

Thanks. Typically I'll drive it 3-4 days a week so it rarely ever sits there for a week. Also, this only started happening within the last week. This has never been an issue before and the weather has been pretty mild in chicago (~55 degrees F) so I don't think that's the issue either.

Got a new battery at the dealership yesterday, 114 bucks and it's made by Interstate. My car sat at the airport for a week or longer plenty of times and never had issues. This just started recently happening. Car seems to be fine now though.
