First Dealer experience

So, it was time to take my '13 G37 into the dealer for the first time.

Issues:
-- right side headlight dead
-- dashboard clock flashes like it was in a disco
-- brake warning light flashes on hard acceleration

Made appointment

Got there early.

Dealer replaced headlight (Cost - $0)
Dealer replaced dashboard clock (Cost - $0)
Dealer checked fluids and brake line for leaks - topped off a little bit of fluid (Cost $0)

Then... the dealer had the nerve to tell me that the battery in my key fob was low - and he replaced it without my permission (Cost - $5)

Oh, and the free coffee sucked. But the free sandwiches and free car wash were OK.

This dealer will have my business any time.

Interesting. I've never heard of any of these issues.

For the most part, squeaks and rattles are the only issues I've ever experienced with either of my G Sedans.

Lightbulbs burn out no matter what the technology. I am glad it was warranteed.

The analog clock light issue is reported a LOT on this forum, I am hardly the first.

Bad coffee is everywhere... nothing unique about that..

Good stuff. Brake light on hard acceleration is common and solved by topping off brake fluid. I just had my clock replaced too. My warranty runs one in feb, so I'm trying to cover all the bases. I'm glad to hear you had a positive experience. Mine has been the same.

Damn....I'm thinking that I need to check the Analog Clock light tonight. I honestly have never paid attention to it in the evening as the HUD normally demands my attention at night. I guess I've missed many of the other threads that discuss this shortcoming.

No excuse for bad coffee!

No keurig coffee? Both dealers on my area have keurig machines and great coffee

nahhhhh.... In Miami, coffee is not a simple drink.. it is a sacred and highly refined art form. American coffee is referred to as "brown water" down here. So, any coffee not made on the spot from freshly ground espresso beans and pressed properly to yield correct cafe cubano therefore sucks. :P

FWIW, espresso beans aren't really a thing. They are just coffee beans or a combination of coffee beans. Caffe Americano is my favorite preparation of coffee. I enjoy all coffee, though. As long as the beans are decent and it is prepped correctly, I'm not pretentious enough to quibble.

What is a dashboard clock? Are you referring to the oval one in the center console stack? It lights up? I don't recall seeing mine ever light up, even at night.

It should turn on at the same time as your dash lights and console lights.

I purchased my Infiniti from a non-Infiniti Dealership (used).

I brought my Infiniti to an Infiniti dealer for an oil change ($40 special can't beat that). The dealer took over an hour due to the fact that they were "washing my car"

I got my car returned and it was still dirty and wrote a complaint on the survey I had to fill out. The dealer called back the next day and said I can get a free carwash whenever I want, just come in at anyime. They also gave me 2 months of XM satellite radio for free. Infiniti has excellent service.

Most of these items are covered in the warranty. But the battery at least they changed because if it was really low and you had to replace it, then you had to reprogram both FOB so this will set you back at least $75.
About the coffee here in the ATL the coffee is keurig too but not sandwich.
