Moving to Chicago - winterize my car?
A Chicago winter? Haha, no. Clearly you've never been to Syracuse, New York, which gets unparalleled amounts of snow, *AND* the damn city is built directly against hillsides. It's nuts.
In fact, here you go: Top 101 cities with the highest average snowfall in a year (population 50,000+)
I live in Rochester. However, specifically I live in Irondequoit, which are #11 and #12 on the list respectively. The reason my little suburb is rated so high is a climatology phenomenon known as "Lake Effect Snow", where the northern winds drop down from Canada into Lake Ontario, pick up all that fresh-water moisture, then dumps it on us.

Pittsburgh may not get too much snow, but we have so little sunshine throughout the winter those gloomy days are driving me nuts year after year..
