Well, had some work done on the car over the weekend.
Turbos replaced, all vacuum lines, spark plugs, oil filter housing gasket, and a nice carbon cleaning.
Also had that OEM style spoilerput on. Car feels brand new.

^ yikes, sounds like a pricey bit of work. and i assume out of pocket. is all that work (aside from the spoiler) considered preventative maintenance at your mileage or was something fouled/broken? how many miles?
i ask because i do consider BMWs from time to time, but always get nervous about repair bills and excessive service requirements compared to the japanese offerings. .

The turbo replacement was covered under an extended warranty that was enacted a result of a class action lawsuit;
Buying a BMW out of warranty is mostly about doing independent research for parts and DIYs. Just like with any brand, there's things you can't do without a lift or a shop. BUT working at the dealer does help.
I'm jumping the G ship as well in a couple months. Just ordered a BMW this past week and it'll take 2-3 months to arrive. For me, the ride/handling of the BMW is leagues ahead of Infiniti. Hope you're still enjoying the 335!
