Took me 2 hours with a break but I did install the rear deck spoiler by myself. Instructions included were helpful but the diagrams sucked. Thanks to this thread I was able to get through the confusing parts. I big thanks to WolfsongX for the help. I will post some pics when I can get her cleaned up a bit. Now I have the matching chin/rear spoiler look & I love it.

Sorry for the crappy cell pics but it was 102 degrees out & I was really dying out there.

Looks very good GeezerB!!!

I love the look in black... especially with the lip... looks very aggressive.

I agree that the diagrams are a bit lousy... for the lip install there was a little question about where to line up the template. But there's a good DIY for the lip with pics that helped, but the diagram didn't help at all.

Glad that I could help, sometimes its just a few little clarifications that make the difference for your confidence level. You did a fantastic job, and you can feel proud when you look at it!

Black? Malbec is not black. You're obviously not a red wine drinker, lol

I'm actually mildly allergic to certain wines so I don't drink any of them. Now that I'm a diabetic, I really can't drink.

I looked at the pics again... I didn't see the red/black cherry overtones and I've not ever seen the color in person, so I was just assuming it was reflected light.

Sorry, I thought it was a black metalflake with a colored flake.

Malbec is one of those colours that without being clean and without the right light it just looks black, but with a clean car and some nice sunlight it's absolutely beautiful.
