ARK resonated test pipe

This is one part I am not finding a whole lot of information of on the forum. Are there any owners here that can chime in on their experience with them? I've e-mailed ARK and they have claimed their hemholtz resonator is bigger than Motordyne ART pipes. And, about $80 cheaper than ART.

My only hesitation is , the ARK doesn't have the same feedback as the ART.

I don't think people understand your question. Maybe that's why you haven't gotten a response, but I'll take a shot and try to help. From what I've read it's best to stay with the same brands when modifying exhaust components, Especially with ark. Those catbacks are known for lots of rasp when adding hfc/test pipes. Some even still complaint about rasp when they do match the ark catback with the ark R-spec stuff. Anyway, if you don't want rasp or want to minimize it as much as possible I'd go with the Ark test pipes. On the other hand, I have heard lots of people getting better gains with the art pipes, but, ofcourse.. more rasp. So it's kind of a debate on wether you want a little more hp with more rasp, or a little less hp with less rasp. Hopefully I helped!

This is all assuming you have an ark catback^^^. I've heard motordyne cat backs with the art pipes and there's barely any rasp at all and its sounds lovely!

I have the Invidia Q300. How would people get more gains with ART vs ARK? They're both test pipes.

when it comes to test pipes.. im of opinion that the differences between brands are negligible..
its pipe for petes sake.. unless the sizes are different..and or bends for flow
id look for build quality.. material and fitment for test pipes..

Right, and the ARK and Motordyne have similar build quality and reputation. But, the ARK isn't as popular due it being a 6MT application only. The purpose of the thread was to scout out any owners of the ARK.
