So PO'D!
The drama continues. Ran over a 6" steel shank and got a flat tire ruining the passenger rear 5 month old Yoko YK 580. Discount road hazard warranty took care of the tire. But, they had trouble balancing due to a bent rim and it's out of specs. Both my passenger rims were supposedly re-finished and my drivers front replaced due to the accident. So, besides the poor panel alignment and mismatched headlight. I have a bent rim too!

When i messed up one of my factory rims due to a massive pothole, i found a replacement at a salvage yard on the cheap. And the guy had no problem just selling me one rim. Saved me quite a few $ instead of having to go to a dealer for sure. Just throwing it out there....
Best of luck getting that squared away ASAP.
I've been toying with the idea of installing a dash cam in my G37 but then I remember how my previous vehicle (a Mazda Protégé) was broken in twice in a public parking lot, at work. The only 'attractive' item inside was a suction cup on the windscreen, for a GPS device. The second time they actually took the suction cup itself, because obviously there was no GPS unit in the car. In the process of opening the door with a crowbar, the thieves damaged both the door and the roof of the car. Therefore, I'm afraid that a dash cam could be another magnet for car thieves.
Might I suggest a dashcam (preferably 2 channel if you can afford it) will be a great investment. I have had people ding my doors at parking lots, back into me, and all sorts of cool videos of people getting flagged down by the cops. It's a decent investment that can pay huge dividends later and you can take it from car to car.
Damn man, i hate to hear that for ya. Any idea on what you're going to do about the rim? Is it drive-able till you can get another one?

Other than that, i haven't heard anything except "they'll make it right", "yes the headlights are different" and "your getting a new rim".
They did a pretty good job on mine but while washing it Saturday i noticed they fixed the scuff marks on the rim and then resprayed it. It was hard to tell when i picked it up because the other rims were all dirty from not having been washed for about a week. But i can see a difference in the finish between that rim and the factory rim. I'll be giving them a buzz here in a bit to see why i didn't get a new factory finished rim to match the other three.
I got mine back for the second time yesterday and i'm impressed. The car now looks like it's never been wrecked. Before, with the mismatched headlight and fender alignment it was screaming, "i been wrecked'! They also resprayed my back bumper that had some pretty nasty gouges in it from a previous mishap as a courtesy. I'm happy and i hope your shop does something for you too as stuff really needs to match. But, I have a feeling the insurance companies are beating these guys down on price so much that they are not allowing them to put out an excellent finished product. My invoice shows a $48 hr. labor rate. What's that going to cover? The tech's pay and benefits? Meanwhile, leaving very little profit for the business.
No, it's a 2013 CPO! Had only 7800 miles on it when i picked it up Wednesday. Still smells brand new and i like it alot better than my 2010. The seats are softer, shifts are smoother and for some reason it feels a little wider. Like the door panels have more of a outward curve making the car not as narrow as my '10. Loving the bluetooth streaming too. My old g was non nav.
