Hey guys! first post on myg37. Recently bought a 2012 g37x sedan, so im a newby to the whole car thing. Wanted to get an xpipe to make her sound a little louder! bought the magnaflow 10790 true xpipe for like 105 on amazon. whats a quote to get it set up? The guy gave me $150, but also said g37x stock comes with a xpipe.. thought it came with a y-pipe.. any help? THANKS!

here in canada, I got a 120$ quote to install an entire FI catback (1.5 hours work)

Yeah in Arkansas I got a $75 install quote on a full CBE. 1.5 hours work as well

shop price varies a lot depending on location. You are right that sedans don't come with x pipe. My advice is don't butcher your oem system. Get some quality axle back instead if you want a bit more growl.

I agree with this. Keep your OEM system intact in the event you wish to revert back to stock. I thought about removing the resonators and doing a muffler delete, however in the long run, it was a better decision to get an aftermarket system and no chop up a stock system. Aftermarket sounds great too

I have a Fast Intentions X-pipe for sale. You could always pick that up and then call FI or another exhaust manufacturer to get the mufflers.

Man, are you guys making me 2nd guess my FI Catback purchase a few months ago (it comes in this friday)
I already installed HFCs 2 years ago

You could always sell it as new and buy my X-pipe and build your own setup. You'll end up saving some money in the end (depending on your options).
