weird issue
weird issue
So I've had a weird issue happen to me twice with one of them being about 15 mins ago. First time in was about 6-8 weeks ago driving down the interstate in DS mode and had all my dash lights come on and it felt like my transmission slipped out of gear. This only happened for a second and then everything went back to normal. I took it to the dealership 2 days later and all they found was "manual shift error". This time I was in manual mode in 2nd gear after just turning onto a road. Anyone ever had this issue or know what causes it? This is on a 2012 g37x sedan.
had mine do that and brought it in they said all it needed was a reprogram and after that it got progressively worse to the point where it wouldn't shift out of third then not out of first... just got a call this morning its the valve body... $2345 with parts and labor... 2009 g37 sedan btw

^^Covered by power train still?
To the OP, good luck with your issue. A more meaningful subject may prompt more people to click. Weird issue doesn't describe much

Huh? It's a 2012. Power train is 6-year/70,000-mile warranty. Err.. I'm confusing the OP's MY/mileage with hbnick's.
How far out of warranty are you? You might be able to get nissan to do a goodwill repair or at least split the bill with you if you're recently out of warranty.
As a plug in for my extended warranty thread, I guess here's one repair that would more than break even the cost of the warranty.
