center console accent

I got a look at the "black laquer" interior trim on a QX70 and I loved it. I looked to see if it would fit my g37 but it does not I just wanted the entire center to be that black... and leave my woodgrain on the doors and dash as is.

Is there a good wrap out there that looks like this?

I think that will take some searching, I have seen some incredible wraps being done. But the texture will not be the same as a real trim. Maybe there's a company that can custom make a trim to your car but I doubt that would be cheap.

Totally unrelated to the finish of the console...

I am saddened by the steering wheel. It looks to be the same as the one I had in the 2012 Maxima. The two up/down toggle buttons on the sides of the wheel suck. The cruise control on the right isn't so bad, but the one on the left for changing tracks and pushing inwards as a selection is horrible. It sticks out further than the one on the right, and I was always hitting it while turning. There's no need for the left one to stick out as far as it does.

Their innovation is going BACKWARDS IMHO.

The black laquer" interior trim looks very nice and they would look even better with the Stainless Steel Radio & A/C ***** or High Polished.

"Totally unrelated to the finish of the console..." I second that, they do look like the maxima.

Look into hydro printing, with a clear coat. That should get you pretty close to the finish you're looking for.

Thanks, looked up hydro printing, and then a couple days later, I see a friend post his stuff being hydro printed. It looks like that would be my best option for sure. I will talk to me friend regarding where he did his stuff at.

Thanks for the suggestion!
