Don't know about that but I'm waiting on Johns install his to see if the hiss can be fixed at any point before I deem FI no bueno.

Who, you to me? Are you about to deem something in Spanish? Where's Alfredo?

No surprise on the ARK sounding great. I finally got some equipment to help me record my current setup (MXP RTPs with ARK). I'll try my best to post an acceleration clip before the end of the month.

Well done.

Mike any drone at all or is it just quiet at idle? Deep when cruising but not obnoxious? Sounds mean when you stomp on it and start up just sounds badass. How was the fitment, any scraping issues lowered on your Swifts?

This sounds great man. I like how the ARK mates very well with the Z1. The crisp low tones really make it different. Those mufflers definitely produce a lower rumble. Can't wait to hear how it sounds when broken in.

Is your ARK system resonated and what size piping?

I fixed the rattling I had (loose heat shield) and swapped in my new Z1 HFCs. I also removed the unresonated X-pipe and installed the 12" resonated X-pipe on my FI system. The sound is close to what I'm looking for. I'll see is the sound changes over the next few weeks. May actually go back to the unresonated X-pipe.

Turns out one of the resonators in my X-pipe is falling apart. You can hear stuff shaking around. I'll be calling FI and request a replacement.

Hey thanx man, had the wife in the car and she even noticed to tone change , LOL she's was unhappy that I got rid of my " One off" Exotic Speed but :/ .
The system is 2.5 and yes resonated and really does sound super deep. Will be curious to see what it sound like after a 1,000 miles or so.

All, I've noticed a substantial decrease in the audible "hiss" coming from my exhaust after swapping out my FI RHFCs and replacing with Z1 HFCs. A bit lower tone and more "burble" is noticeable. Could be those two points "masking" the hiss but I don't notice it as much on deceleration after the equipment swap.

What's with this ground clearance issue? I keep reading about it, so it must be true. What's so different about this particular exhaust that it is lower than everything else out there? Where is it lower, and is that a necessary thing? Could Ark have made it with more clearance, or would that have sacrificed some of the sound/airflow?
