The resonance/drone inside the cabin is not as bad as some systems which helps in the quiet department. Maybe that's why my wife approved the ARK exhaust because conversation isn't full of "What was that?? Can you say that again?" like it was in my previous 350z. But from the outside I think it is decently loud when you are on the throttle.

^ Love the tips. Just FYI my helmholtz resonators had some plastic covering the top that I didn't know about until they melted. Be sure to check yours just in case.

Your diffuser certainly helps tone down how large they are, and the polished SS looks much better on your color car than those silly techno-tips would.

Yeah, without the diffuser I imagine those would stick out and be kind of an eye sore.

I have Invidia CBE and FI RHFC now and the tone is deep, but not loud. How does the ARK compare to the Invidia? I'm considering changing things up as the Invidia seems tame, but I do still like it. Also I will be getting Fortune 500 Coilovers and plan to drop my car in the spring to around 1-1.5 finger gap all around would the ARK exhaust provide me with enough clearance now with its new design?

Hey, ANMVQ... it's been a few days. Bump for updates.

Too cold there in MA? Sub-freezing temps really are a downer when wanting a proper analysis for mods like this... I get that. Winter sucks for me, too.

However, intake/engine noise certainly does get aggressive when freezing out. That's always fun.

Do it! Ark exhaust is better than FI in my opinion.

I see you went back to the same spot as your first video. Nice. The Ark Grip (Aye Arr Kay ) sounds so much better at idle. The previous cat-back had serious drone at idle, the Ark not so much. It's just a more rich, better modulated noise. I like it. That was a fine little comparison.

Well done.

Hearing you intro the vids makes me realize what a total geek you are. (Me too, but still... LOL)

Thanks for the comparison clips! That ark sounds really good. That ark is 2.5" pipes, right?
