Mine does!

A day after I read your post this popped up on my dash

Stopped by a nearby Batteries Plus. They measured the voltage on the original 3v battery and it read 2.8v

I had them them replace batteries in both key fobs which are now 2 1/2 years old

No more problem

Anything else U guys know of that I should check. I know there's a loose connection somewhere on this car.
If your 2011 is similar to the 2008 then there will be a small port just above the hood release latch that will allow you to insert your dead key fob into it and start the car. This should allow you to start the car no matter what the condition of the key fob battery.

Hmmm... if only.

It is well over 1000 pages.
Everything you need to know as well as a factory Infiniti tech is in there along with extensive troubleshooting steps with flow charts.

You can search for it on line but the I found the paper version much easier to use as well as having the ability to place paper stickies on certain pages for quick reference

Hi, My name is Jan and I'm new here but I have a question about my 2009 G37. I've never seen anything like this. I got home from the grocery store and pushed the trunk release button to open the trunk. My aim must have been off and I went below the trunk release and found a cubby hole. This afternoon I went to start my car and the no key detected light came on. My grandson was with me and he placed the key fob in the cubby hole and it fired right up. What is this mysterious cubby hole and why do I have to put the key fob in it to start my car. It's right under the truck release and has two yellow lights on it. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jan

From the OWNERS manual:

Likely the battery in your fob is dying/dead.
