Thinking of selling the G sedan...
I don't understand all those people buying the new BMW 328i for example - it's a turbo 4-banger and it sounds just like any other piece of $hit 4-banger. Sure it develops like 270hp and sure with an 8-speed tranny it can almost match a G37 but it's a horrible sounding thrifty engine. Whereas the G has an outstanding exhaust note and just the noise the engine makes is pleasure on its own.
Call me old-fashioned but I would take a large displacement V6 over a small turbo 4-banger any day.

And those cars aren't really slower than a G stock. The A4 and GLI can both be made faster than the G could ever dream to be, and the 328 is just AS fast out of the box and can be made faster with a tune. So your point is invalid.
It is all personal preference. I just gave you options like you asked for. You may be in love with the Gs raw engine. To me it sounds harsh and unrefined, to you it sings. Different strokes for different folks. I just stated that you CAN have an enthusiast car that doesn't suck gas like a pickup truck.

Power through technology. It wasn't that long ago that everyone thought your V6 was a 'piece of **** sounding 6 cylinder' compared to a V8. Now it is our generation getting over that and learning more about turbo 4s.

Oh here we go with the ricer arguments again talking about what cars would beat the G with mods, yada yada.

Here's some numbers in case you didn't know concerning the cars you listed and as always, stock vs stock is our barometer.
Audi a4 - 6.4 0-60, .....yawn
328i - 5.6 0-60, better but still slower
GLI - 6.5 0-60, slow, but also cheaper so not really a contender.
Yes, it's all about preference but all the options you gave me were slower so obviously not really a valid rebuttal, no? I'm just saying when comparing nuts to bolts the G offers a ton of value in it's price range considering what else is out there.
Subaru BRZ, as compared to your G37:
Subaru BRZ, as compared to the Honda FIT:
- Less expensive.
- Better mileage.
- More fun to drive.
- More unique styling.
- Slower, but see Point #3.

The lease on my G expired and I was heavily into getting a new Prius trim level 5. My gas bill is about 200/mo. I almost pulled the plug on the Prius and decided to lease another g. As soon as I got the car I knew I made the right decision. I was really happy with the g and had no desire to move up, down, left or right.

Just curious, but why do you think the BRZ is more fun to drive than a G? I would think a G37S would have the upper hand in any measurable metric.
Closest thing to that which I have driven would be the Miata and the Mini... both of which I'd say are far more entertaining to drive than the G when embracing your inner Speed Racer. IMO, it's just more fun tossing a lightweight car around the pavement, particularly when the car is designed for it. At that point, speed becomes irrelevant. Very much like my old 240SX, which wasn't a speed demon, but man was that car fun to chuck into the turns.
Thing is, I don't like that all the time. In that context, overall I prefer a heavier car, with a solid suspension, fat tires and lots of HP.

very old fashioned. The G sedan doesn't have a good exhaust note. My GTI sounds better. And the engine noise of the G sounds very unrefined. Loud inside the cabin but not in a good way. 4 banger forced induction. It's the present time. More power with more efficiency. Big V8 and inefficient V6 is dated. However, it's good to see the domestics slowly catching on with their 2.0T and turbo diesels.
