Hmmm....maybe I can do a run and then install them real quick before my 2nd pass lol...do a quick pit stop on it

don't sweat the aftermarket parts too much, you're not exactly going out there with a lada. And that said, someone with a few years of seat time could definitely wipe the floor with you in a lada :P

Hey OP - Not sure how knowledgable you are with AutoX style driving, but I just wanted to share with you some tips that help me.

1) LOOK AHEAD! Know what's coming next, have your entry line prepared. In the middle of long sweepers, be looking for the end so you can maximize your exit speed.

2) SMOOTH AND STEADY! No sawing at the wheel. One fluid motion with minor adjustments. Same goes for throttle. Smooth input, no choppy crap.

Not trying to dad you or anything, just sharing what tips I was given as a newbie that helped me Have fun!

Edit: It also helps to write those tips, and whatever else helps you, on a card, and read it before each run. I tape mine to the steering wheel in my Miata.
