Nope, it's the Q50 now. Last year for the G37 was 2013!

Uhhhhh I definitely thought Infiniti made a 2014 G37..... I recall a friend of mine being offered a lease deal on one.

No the last model G is the 2013 G37, which is sold for the 2014 year.

Infiniti did not stop production of the G Sedan and will be sold alongside the Q50 in some regions.

They still sell the G37 Sedan as a 2014 model, but only in Journey or AWD trim. The Sport Package and 6MT have been discontinued.

In 2015, the G37 Sedan will be renamed as the Q40. I don't know if there will still be a Q40 in 2016 or beyond. I suspect INFINITI doesn't know either.

All the new G's on the lot here in Fort Lauderdale are badged the Q60 for the coupe and Q50 for the sedan. The coupe really looks sharp IMO, the first difference I noted was the headlights have some LEDs in them now. The Q50 sedan IMO looks like a cross between the G and the M. I'm not impressed with it. Other than the electronics it looks watered down.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or if you're serious.

You're saying the V36 Coupe has LED Headlights?? Seen a few locally, zero change.

What? No, the Q50 is a brand new design, it's not a "new G". The Q60 is last years G37 Coupe, and will be redesigned for 2015. Very excited to see what that will be. And the G37 Sedan is still what it is, but without sport performance parts, and will be renamed Q40 next year.

This very confusion is why I think INFINITI's new branding decision is such a complete clusterfck.

Maybe I was seeing "things" but I could have sworn that I saw LEDs under / around the headlight rings. Thought I was looking at the Q60 vert IPL on the showroom floor last time I was at my dealership.

Ahhh, I see. Thanks for the enlightenment. Infiniti needs to try harder. I want a stylish sporty sedan after this G37, and they haven't produced anything as of yet to peak my interest.

Could it have been aftermarket? Are you sure the car was brand new?

Honestly, after driving at Q50, glad I don't own one. That steer-by-wire technology is not there yet. It feels mushy and you can definitely notice the slight lag in it when turning.

Car was absolutely brand new. I don't think it was aftermarket. The funny thing was that my wife actually pointed the cars features out to me. She seems to like the Vert and the speakers in the head rests. I started checking out the car and saw these peculiar spots around the bottom of the headlight rings. My first thought was how we have just had a thread not long ago about LED overkill, and I thought to myself how Infiniti was just catching up to this trend.
