Do you have a soundclip? If I could a get a (NEW) full catback with stainless tips and a great sound for $700 bucks then I would be all for it. PM me if you want to go further in depth dude, I really want to buy an exhaust soon or my wife is going to kill me for spending too much time on the computer researching.......

Good point. I seem to recall a sedan owner involved with Magnaflow for exhaust development. Maybe a year ago? Hang on...

^^looks pretty nice. I'm still undecided on what I'm going to do with the exhaust. Probably going to bump up my initial budget a bit.

I have sound clips on youtube, there are a few out there. The Sedan one I found was only mine, LOL with mid pipe and stock mufflers( Stil working on getting the rear muffle to fit- Coupe). And 03-06's but you can get an idea . I'm sure the sedan 03-06's and coups sound pretty much the same.

Ok, now the ark is my frontrunner for exhaust even though I don't want to spend that much damn money. I've been doing research and it looks like they were around 1k when they first came out and now they are $1500! Blast.

Question for sedan ark owners, does the exhaust sit too low like everyone claims? Also, how was the fitment? I saw one g37 owner say he had to reuse stock bolts. How is the exhaust holding up and how does it feel in the torque department? Lastly, would you buy it again if given the choice?

Thanks.

I approached that question recently with an ARK owner. Seems what's "low" are those humongeous exhaust tips. They're way too big, and stick out somewhat far. So apparently it's the tips that hit. Which is an easy solution... just hack them off and weld on something more tasteful.

It reads like you might want to start your own "Help AroundTheG37 choose a Catback" thread.

Don't stick out too far to me looking at this pic, but the tips are huge.

Also, I will start a new thread if the OP wants me too but it seems like my questioning is getting a lot of answers and the thread is called "G37 sedan exhaust options" so the more info the better, right?

Looking at exhausts today while I'm not working. Really starting to lean towards the Invidia Q300.

1--Budget friendly at around $800/shipped
2--Nice rolled tips
3--Not obnoxiously loud (that might or might not be a positive attribute for some people)
4--Good reviews

Is the ark $600 bucks better than the invidia, that is the question. Decisions decisions.

The phrase "diminishing returns" pops into my head.

$600 is an intake. Or a tune if you already have an intake. Or a really nice night out with the significant other.

2015 is my plan for cat-back, so I've been going round and round on this as well, since even before buying the car 2+ years ago.

ARK has been at the top of my list for some time. However, if the 07-08 G35 RWD Sedan exhaust from BORLA fits the G37 RWD Sedan, that will make for a difficult decision. Still haven't heard back from BORLA on my inquiry. After ARK and BORLA, my next best selection would be Fast Intentions, because they make a great product, and I've seen/heard it in person. It's quite nice. Stillen looks the best (IMO), but doesn't sound the best (IMO). Tanabe, Magnaflow, Invidia, TopSpeed... just not interested, regardless of the cost-2-value proposition. And I can't justify the expense for Meisterschaft. Also, the ARK won't be cheap after adding in the cost and welding for less ricey exhaust tips.

There's a Sedan Meet-up in about a week and a half, with a number of different exhausts installed. Looking forward to in-person comparisons.

Everyone has their price point, and their priorities. Those are mine.
