G37 Sedan Exhaust Options
I decided to hold off on the coilovers until the summer. And even then I may hold off longer, I want them but I want to go to New Zealand this year so if I have to choose it will be NZ and a tat over coilovers. My local shop on,y charges me $50 an hour so it isn't too bad will just be a little tough to manage picking up and dropping off a rental.
$50/hr is a great rate for installation. I've removed OEM/installed aftermarket exhausts in about an hour before. I've actually installed an ARK system for a friend of mine who just picked up a G37 - didn't take long at all and was an easy process. A little finessing here and there but it was a piece of cake. Tony @ FI tells me that there won't be any lining up/finessing issues with the FI system, which will be an awesome bonus. And it's just going to sound downright incredible.

I now have the tanabe mufflers only and find myself in a bit of a situation as there are zero options as far as I know for mid pipes. I def will do hfc down the road, but I feel like my mid and/or y pipe will be a bit of a bottle neck.
I have the ark CBE and it's simply awesome. It's quiet when cruising but really opens up when you floor it. Btw if you do get ark, don't get the techno tip. I have it and it just looks like s**t.

Just upgraded my 2k3 Maxima and got a 2010 G37 Anniversary Edition. Looking into exhaust options and they seem to be all over the place (price and research).
I am personally looking into the Tanabe Medalion axle back then having an exhaust shop try and fit large resonators before it. Something that isn't going to be unbearable once I put test pipes (no emissions in FL)
Anyone have a ARK exhaust? Review on sound and loudness?
What size is the piping on the Tanabe. I'm looking for a 2.5".
Anyone have an idea of the largest size resonators that can fit, diameter and length?

its funny, i update from 2k2 maxima ( still running strong got over 200K on it ) to 2k12 G and i just recently install ARK exhaust.. loving it man...

I have ARK exhaust and HFCs installed. Absolutely love the sound. It won't be insane like a meisterschaft but in return has a deep growl and great WOT noise. Has great tinniness, not rasp.
If you're looking to NOT be loud do not get cats. I'll see to posting a few videos for reference by tonight/tomorrow.

Based on following forum opinions, I believe what Stillen has going for it is build quality, clean, OEM-ish appearance, and a quiet exhaust... relative to the rest.
In terms of loudness: Stillen < FI < ARK < Meisterchaft
