I too been wavering back and forth on an exhaust for my X. I always hear great things about the Fast Intentions - the only downside would be the wait time to have it built. My big concern is in-cabin drone, this is still my daily driver and I don't want anything obnoxiously loud inside the car when cruising at low-rpms. Does anyone have the latest Stillen who can comment on the drone aspect?

I guess the Fast Intentions exhaust with X pipe and 18 inch resonators is a nice option for those DD out there. I hear you with the wait time. I'm interested in getting one, just not right now. I don't know a lot about the Stillen except some do complain about drone.

Downright maddening.

I'm leaning towards the q300 but all this talk of it being so quiet is really turning me off.

The stillen doesn't retain the stock exhaust note and looks pretty blah.

The ark has me intrigued but I heard there were fitment issues and I don't think that should be present when spending $1500.

We all know the downsides to fast intentions.....wait time and somewhat high price, but is it worth it?

To each his own, but IMO the Stillen is the best *looking* exhaust of them all. It's not even close.

LEt me clarify, by looking bleh I mean I've seen many clips where the cans look to have some rust and the tips don't look polished anymore. Maybe that's owner fault but kind of worrisome.

Here's a few links to the Borla CBE, it lists for 07-08 G35 Sedan but there shouldn't be any differences for the 37 AFAIK
Borla 140270 G35 Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust System 07-08 Sedan $1 Shipping - performance parts
G35 Sedan RWD Only 2007-2008 Cat-Back Exhaust part # 140270

Not much info out there on them and I can't even find a link selling it.

I also thought about the Borla but again, not much info out there.

When I had my stillen exhasut I put it to the test with a nyc winter and it cleaned up just fine. When I sold it I used some metal polish and it cleaned up like new. I also have to agree with Rochester, the Stillen exhaust is the best looking for the sedans.

I had a Stillen CBE and one of the main reasons I sold it was the drone issue. Just cruising on the highway you'd notice the buzz coming from the exhaust which was pretty annoying. Also low rmps under any load and you feel the vibration in the cabin, from the exhaust. I found my self downshifting to raise the rpms and get out of the "drone zone"

BORLA is a pretty big outfit, and the G37 Sedan has been around for 5 years now. Seems to me they would have a good reason why their Sedan exhaust is listed for the 07-08 G35, but not the 09-14 Sedan.

Someone should write to BORLA and ask...

...and I just did. When/if they respond, I'll put the response here.

Interesting, that Exoticspeed also lists for an 07-08 G35 but not the 09+ G37s, what difference would there be??

From: Framingham Ma,
I didn't even see the refurbished OPPS , the have multiple options for tips , you can do stainless or stainless , they have like 4 or 5 different tip options .
