Can I get a G35 for around $10,000?

My son just demolished my mint, loaded 2001 Maxima SE with 54K miles, so I now need a new "family car". My wife has her Ford piece of crap crossover and I have my G37 vert. Can I get a reasonably maintained, under 70K G35, for about $10,000? I was able to negotiate the insurance company payment up to $7,200 because of the cars condition and low mileage. If a G35 is out of range, what other "family" car should I look at? I want something with power and decent handling, maybe a v6 mazda 6? Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Depends how old you are willing to go: Kelley Blue Book

2005 G35 Sedan with 110K Miles in very good condition is listed at $7,800 from a private party seller

An 06 or earlier should be available in that range, the updated 07+ G35 would be out of range I think unless the miles are real high or other issues. Could look for an older Acura TL as well.

Yes. First gen G35 are probably one of the best bang for the buck cars you can currently buy on the pre-owned market. I think that car is holding up better with than the 2nd gen G35s as well..

Mazda 6 is sneaky fun, but FWD. RWD models in general are scarce of course.
