A model above the Q70?

I think Infiniti is upset that the GTR resides under the Nissan brand, so they want their own: Infiniti Flagship Models to Sport as Much as 600 HP » AutoGuide.com News

We already have the Q100 ;D

But the Eau Rouge and others hopefully will be going after the BMW M's and Mercs AMG's. I can't wait.

First off - I wish I had been clever enough to think of that username. That is hilarious.

I can't wait for the high performance models either. Maybe IPL will no longer be such a joke!

Thank you, I do enjoy it lol.

I think they were testing the waters with IPL and realized they were way off the mark and are now getting back to their roots.

Agreed. Offering an IPL model with a paltry 15 horsepower bump and fatter mufflers was hardly ever a solution to AMG or M.

Infiniti needs to offer something serious - like a twin-turbo version of the 3.7L V6 combined with suspension & brake upgrades. THAT would be a proper competing machine.

I second that emotion! LOL Yeah, they need to step it up a bit. To the uninitiated the IPL seems to be the end all be all for the Infiniti brand, but to we enthusiasts it's like a half hearted attempt.
