Exhaust questions

This will be my second infiniti that I will make my own I had an 04 coupe that I customised now that Im alittle older and there arent as many sedans out there being personalized Im starting to make it my own. As of right now I am lowered on with Tien S techs on a set of Rohana RC 20s. I do have berk test pipes that will be going on tomorrow. The real question is what is everyones opinion I have narrowed it down to 2 exhausts either the arc or motordyne is releasing their exhaust for our cars in about a month and half and just waiting. From the pricing that I have been told is is going to be about a $500 price difference between the arc and the motordyne. For that I can either do headers or an intake. I think the Motordyne holds a little more wieght and quality behind it for our cars. I dont think either is a bad exhaust just going back and forth in my head. Its not so much the price its the waiting I'm more not wanting to do I guess.

Great color on the car and I like the rims with the drop. As for the exhaust question I would wait until the new exhaust comes out and you can get reviews on people who got them since its a new product. But thats just me though. On the other hand you can purchase the ark right away and get the satisfaction you need right away. But maybe the motordyne exhaust is more to your liking (regardless of price) so you might miss out going the no wait route. Its subjective so really its up to you and what you think is more important.

Car looks really clean and nice look w/ your wheels and STech drop. Agree w/ Elrey, hard to give much help w/ exhaust as it's hard to judge what you'd consider a good tone or not, also hard to find a good source to compare exhaust tone since everyone's sound source is a bit different
BTW, welcome to the site, nice first post!

Damn, that drop looks real good. Do you have the x or no?? I just grabbed a set of Swifts more-so for the even drop it gives on the x sedan but this is definitely lower and still looks even... This pic has me second guessing myself...smh

It's just rear ya it really is pretty even with the STechs I'm happy with the ride as well. The only sound I'm looking for is not to much of a drone and nothing that sounds like a cheap honda.... As far as power with a tune that I will need I'll be within a few horse regardless I guess I've already made up my mind and gonna go with the arc and order the headers at the same time

So i went ahead and ordered the exhaust I went totally different and went with the stillen dual, and went ahead and ordered the gen 3 intake as well. I have my berk test pipes in my trunk until the other breather mods get here wednesday and everything will go on Sunday. So I am going back and forth with my next purchase. I already have s techs and dropped on the Rohana rc20s. Ive done some reading thro and not sure what to do next I am trying to get all of my bolt ons done and hope that satisfies me for awhile.

What is you opinion on going with the M370 with a set of stillen headers and a lightened crank pully next. I am looking to order everything on the 10th with my monthly bonus, and then really thinking about a bottle. I just dont think I wanna go FI. Keep it more of an NA build.

I know the type of power that you can make on an FI my dad had an 03 evo with a full ams built stroker on a gt37r with meth and was making 680 wheel on 93 as an everyday driver for a year and half until he decided it was time to let it go and just get a bike.

I will say this tommy, I have the Stillen cbe and gen3 intakes as well, I initially tried to pair those up w some motordyne art pipes and the rasp was just insane! Hopefully the berks dont cause that, but if by chance they do you can always look at stillen to complete the trifecta. But then again your also putting headers and the 370 intake on....I def believe the 370 intake will give you that mid range power that you can use as a DD. Either way I like where this is heading and anxious to see what you decide to go through with. Would be nice if you have the ability to do; would run a dyno now and one after the tune to really compare.

Hey the Source of my information can from Juan over at the nissanraceshop.com it is thro fontana nissan I have ordered most of my parts thro them. As well had a local shop try to get me a price and they told me the same thing that he did. Here is a copy and paste from the email that he had sent me. I just didnt want to wait any more I had basically the same set up on my 04 coupe that I had and was pleased so didnt feel the need for the wait.

Hey Bud,

Got pricing for you on the parts for your G37.

Stillen Gen 3 Long tube intakes would run you $

Stillen Stainless Steel headers would run you $

The pricing on the Motordyne Exhausts is still not available for the G37 sedan can you please follow up with me in the middle of February I would be able to get you pricing on it as long as motordyne has sent us a price sheet.

You might want to read this before pulling trigger on headers
