I have some rattles in my car that are slowly killing me(console and steering wheel) and I was wondering if I take it into the dealer, would they keep it for a long period of time. I don't really want to take it in if they'll have it for a week or two.

 

Depends on the dealer and the service schedule that day. First, the tech will have to recreate the rattles and validate them. He'll have to disconnect the battery to work around the steering wheel and dash components to correct the problem. Have these rattles existed from the time you took delivery? Do they occur in both warm and cold weather?

 

I was having the same issue with loud wind noise passenger rear window and steering column making squeak which drove me nuts. I took it to my local infiniti dealership, they fixed if for free no more noises
