back in the G market
They're not impossible to locate, but you need patience and a willingness to travel. I traveled 400 miles to pick up mine. Oh, and here's the other thing... don't get too hung up on color. The 6MT Sedan is rare, so if you find a good deal, don't let it pass you by because you were dead set on Vibrant Red, or Lakeshore Slate. I appreciate that color is an important component in a car decision, but the car itself is more important, and believe me... your options are limited.
And not for nothing, but Chilibowl's 2012 lease turn-in is a great opportunity staring you right in the face.
In today's market (well, the years before 2014, actually), the G37S Sedan 6MT only had one reasonable competitor, and that choice came with a whole host of issues, not the least of which was a higher price tag, and a big bucket of smug.

I drove a bunch of 6MT cars (several 335's including one Dinan S3, M3, CTS-V, S4, G37S 6MT coupe and a Shelby Mustang (just for the fun of it) before settling on another G. If money was no object and I didn't have to drive it in the winter, I probably would have bought the CTS-V. You have to love the power in the CTS-V. I don't really like the styling but what a blast to drive. I love the 335 engine too, especially when chipped to 408hp. The S4 is the sleeper of the group. significantly faster than the G but looks pretty much like an ordinary A4.
But in the end nothing beat the combination of fun, value and practicality of the G. The CTS-V, S4 and more expensive 335's would have all set me back $10-12K more than the G. Reliability and ownership cost on the 335 and Audi are a problem (once they are out of warranty).

When I bought my car in July-12, they were pushing 24 month leases to bridge the gap until when the Q50 got released. Time might be approaching soon when a lot of those 12's leases are up.
A good friend of mine actually picked up an 07 6MT 335i this past summer, and tuned it within a month or so, and made really good power. I don't remember the numbers off the top of my head, but they're impressive. So, if that's in your price range, I would definitely consider it.
You do have an awesome deal looking you right in the face with Chilibowl's offer. And like everyone is saying, a sport model sedan with an MT is a hard find. Mine was the only one in a hundred mile radius, so I knew I had to grab it, and I don't regret the decision at all.
Good luck!

My wife can't drive a stick and that is a bit of an argument. I would simply keep my truck as opposed to getting into a non manual sports car, however. She could learn and only drives my car maybe twice per month, but that could be avoided. Also, I really want to stay around 21k or so, so a '12 is going to be out of the question
With a simple 500 dollar ecu upgrade you are looking at close to 380 at the crank, and well over 300 at the wheels. That is very hard to pass up. But I know if eventually get burnt not having a warranty and be out a lot if cash
One of many reasons I didn't get a 335 is my concern that a previous owner had done that very very mod and beat on it for however long.
