Smile Thanks to this site, I'm a G37 owner!

After a couple years of admiring the cars, I finally own a G37 Sedan, and myg37.com helped make it happen. On Saturday I was looking to buy a 2010 G37, and had it pared down to 2 different cars on the dealer's lot. The dealer was FIRM on their price of $17,000, and I really liked this car because it was still within warranty with 41,000 miles. My only hesitation was that the driver's door leather armrest had a nasty hole worn in the leather. I googled the issue to see how common it was, and came across this site where I learned that several of you have had Infiniti dealers replace worn leather items under warranty. Here's how it looked:

I took it to Schumacher Infiniti and showed them the issue, and they replaced the entire door panel the next day! Very impressed so far with their service!

Now can somebody offer advice on how to convince my wife to let ME drive it a little more often??

You're going to learn a whole lot of things on this site, establish some valuable relationships (such as they are), and dribble away an incalculable amount of time. Certainly more so if you start modifying the car, either for performance or looks or both.

And then, just like that freeware you downloaded last year that you can't live without, you're going to want one of these little buttons:

Nice job pimp'n us up John

OP congrats on the G, nice to see the dealer took care of your interior issue, seems like a nice price you paid too. Should leave room in your budget for a few mods right away!

Thanks for the welcome, guys! I've already learned alot from these informative, and often amusing posts.

Question:
Has anyone needed to adjust their headlights?
As we drove off from the dealership, I noticed the left headlight pointing low. Something I can adjust myself I hope.

The left headlight should always be slightly lower than the right on HID's. Helps to not blind oncoming traffic. cutoff should look like this __--

I thought so too!
It had a clean Carfox, new tires (although a cheap brand I'd never heard of. Westlake. I'm planning to replace them later this year).
It had 2 interior trim issues, which I believe is why it was priced so low.
1. The leather tear, which Infiniti replaced under warranty.
2. Adhesive residue on the dashboard from some prior knuckhead owner who put a GPS up there. I'm still working on that!!!

Thanks on the headlight advice. Will check it out!
